| We went to see Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) today on Corcavado Hill (only 710m above sea level!).
It was absolutely amazing up there, not just the statue, but the views over the whole of Rio.
We didn't quite make it to Pau De Acucar (Sugar Loaf mountain) as we nedded to get back to pick up our laundry but the view from Morro de Urca ( the first little hill) was great... that's where they hang glide from.
We'll add some photos in a week or so for all to see. |
