Us at Royal Albert Hall Funky Buildings Harrods
Up early today- well early for us! We're off to Royal Albert Hall and the Royal College of Music first. We passed the museum of Natural history on the way but decided to bypass cos we had limited time. When we got to Hyde Park the view of the Prince Albert monument was amazing and there stood Royal Albert Hall. Unfortunately we managed to come on the day when there were no tours so I bought a few souvenirs and admired it from the outside. We took some pics of the monument that seperates the Hall from the College of Music and met Jay who had been to a rehearsal at the famous music academy.

We then helped Jay with his sax's to the train and set out for Harrod's.

Well this place was definitely amazing. The Egyptian escalators and the antiques floor were highlights. Among the many rare fossils and objects for sale in this room was an £85,000 desk!

After Harrod's we went back to Hamley's where we spent hours looking through the thousands of cool toys they had in cluding a life sized stuffed toy giraffe with a price tag of £5,000 I think.

We then walked back down to Leicester Square and to Covent Garden where we had a cornish pasty and watched all the differnt activities going on. There was even a live puppet theatre set up in the market.

We then quickly made our way to Speakers Corner in Hyde Park and walked through the famous grounds and did some people and squirrel watching before heading home for what will most likely be our last home cooked dinner for a while.

Wow! What a day!
