A much better day to visit the Park! and have a baguette Basilica de Sacre Cour
Today we had a real nice day after we got all the necessities sorted out.

We layed about in the Park du Champs de Mars for awhile in the early afternoon before heading up to Basilica de Sacre Couer for the evening.

Sacre Couer is a massive, beautiful Basilica on top of a hill overlooking Paris.

We had a beautiful picnic dinner on the sloping hill out the front and watched the sunset over Paris.

We went inside the Basilica, which is amazingly decorated, with a dome in the roof painted with Jesus on the cross, looking like it is standing up in front above you, not just painted on.

We saw a bit of a catholic mass, which was kinda strange for someone who has never seen it before.

We stayed on the steps in front Sacre Couer for awhile more before deciding to head home.

On the way down to the metro we saw what looked like the red light district in the distance and went for a walk to find Moulin Rouge. It was pretty cool, and there was a line up that looked about 500m long so we decided it wasn't worth checking out for now.
