Jul 5, 2006 - Gaudi, Gaudi, Italians, more Gaudi
Today was great, slept in a bit, then headed off to see all the big Gaudi.

First was the Barri Gothic, just walking around all the old buildings with funky roofs and gargoyles, the back of the La Seu Catherdral was pretty cool.

After this we went to see what I know know as the Uglest building ever built.

The Temple de la Sagrada Familia.

It is just unthinkable that a human could create something so alien looking. It looks like an alien hive from the movies.

It is still pretty cool to look at though.

After all this we went out to watch the next world cup semi-final with the Italians we met last night and ended up drinking wine, and bourbon shots, in some Plaza all night in front of another Gaudi building with an alien facade.

Then we had to go home and pack our bags for our 6am train to Nice, that was painful.
