| Jul 9, 2006 - Another quiet day, after the station
| Yesterday was our flake out day in Rome, just chilling out by the pool at our campsite. We are staying in a camping village thing in a cabin with ensuite. Its a really nice place and atmosphere, with bar, restaurant, pool and stuff.
Today we were meant to go to Novara to meet Simone and Chiara for the world cup final but couldn't get train tickets so just came home and chilled out again.
The World Cup final was tonight and to see it in Rome was great. We couldn't really go into town for it as the transport is crap and we wouldnt get home, but there was a good atmosphere in the bar at our campsite, so we had a great night anyways.
Apparently there were 1 million people down at the Circo Maximo, which is pretty intense considering Rome has 3 million people total.
Needless to say there was plenty of partying all night anyway. |
