| Jul 13, 2006 - Novara, Near Milan
| We came up to Novara to meet some really cool Italians we met in Barcelona.
Everybody was so nice to us here and it was cool to check out how the real italians live.
When we arrived in Milan, some random Italian asked if i was Trent and made us follow him. Turned out he was Chiara's dad, who works in Rome and happened to be on the same train as us heading home.
He took us to the Novara train and made our life 100 times easier.
When we got to Chiara's place she pulled out the beers she bought for us as we called the spanish beers 'like water'. They were 9 percent, and really nice.
That afternoon we went into town with Chiara and her mum, Simona, and saw the Medievil castle of Novara, the town centre, and the big church and all of that. It was pretty cool.
Then we went for 'Aperitovo', which is where we go buy a cocktail, and eat little appetisers and stuff for free, before heading to the Pizzaria for dinner.
Simone, Chiara's fiancee came met up with us for dinner and after we went to atheir local hangout for more cocktails, and to meet some of their friends.
Had a great time here in the 'Real' Italy
Everybody was so nice.
Thanks Guys |
