| Jul 28, 2006 - We're in London again
| Well after a bit of re-organising we're back in London.
We had a nice heathrow experience on the way home.
First, our plane was delayed leaving Munich by 2hrs because of the crap London weather.
We finally arrived to Heathrow for the hour wait for immigration, followed by the hour wait for luggage.
Now we're ready to go to Fiona and Jay's only to find that to get there we need to take a 90 pound ($225) taxi as all the public transport has finished for the night.
So, we did the same as hundreds of others at the airport and slept on the ground near the train station for 3hrs waiting for the Underground to open.
We finally got to Fiona and Jays and had nice sleep all day today.
Tonight I (Trent) cooked up some awesome curries for everyone (there are 2 of Jays mates here too) and we had a really nice chilled night in. |
